Not sure which side you need? The pilot side (left) latch is on the left when seated in the aircraft. Contact us if you have any questions about fitment.

1

Inspect old latch

Examine the existing latch to confirm the break or damage. Note the position (pilot or co-pilot side) before ordering to ensure you receive the correct replacement.

2

Remove broken latch with trim tool

Use a plastic trim removal tool or a flat wooden stick to carefully pry the broken latch free from its retaining clips. Work gently around the perimeter to avoid scratching the window frame or surrounding trim.

3

Align and press new latch into retaining clips

Position the replacement latch so the snap-fit tabs align with the retaining clip locations. Press firmly and evenly until the latch seats fully and all clips engage. No adhesive, drilling, or hardware is required.

4

Verify latch operation

Open and close the window or vent panel several times to confirm smooth operation and positive engagement. The latch should hold the panel securely in both the open and closed positions.
